How did you get your name 9.3? That is one of my favorite cartridges.

At one time Remington made the Mod 7 FS. I bought one here on the fire, but the seller kept the original stock so I never had a chance to see if it was kevlar or plastic.
Forget that..it was a .308 now that I think about it.

I could be wrong, but I always thought that the FS meant fiberglass stock and the KS meant kevlar stock. But in todays market, the FS could mean plastic. My Model 7 CDL 350 Mag. has a WWS stock. "W" meaning wooden walnut. The 350 Rem Mag. is basically a 30-06 capacity cartridge in a 308 length, necked to .358 bore.I find that the felt recoil is no more than 06's I have shot. It's a beutiful little round and fun to shoot. The only thing that may have been improved upon is eliminating the belt, but I have no feeding problems. 250 gr. bullets have to be seated deep to fit the Model 7, so it kind of defeats the purpose.

i have a model 7KS in .350mag, weighs a tad under 7# scoped & field ready. Never shot anything except 200's in mine, killed a few deer & 2 hogs so far with it.
recoil is energetic...when i first got it, i had it set up with a forward scout-scope mount and a leupold 2.5x scout, and it broke 2 reticles on that scope. the second time leupold sent it back with a heavy duplex instead of standard & that one held, but i later went to a 2x7 in a standard mount.
The FS models i have held felt heavier, more like an injection molded stock.
