I joined AR about the same time I joined up here. Back then it was not a bad place to hang out. But either AR changed or my tastes changed, I am pretty sure it was the former.
A few years back, one of the "regulars" over there posted a thread "You guys can't shoot." You should have seen the schit storm when I and a couple others took exception to his statement.
It turned out the OP was a guide out of Argentina, IIRC, and he was criticizing his own clientele for too many misses during stag season.
He got a bit offended when I said "A marksman needs no one to coach him through a shot, and a hunter does not need any one to find critters for him to shoot."
I have not been back there much since then.
