Before Buhmiller took up gunmaking, he was apparently a reporter and photographer. Ken commented about his having 4 x 5 format gear, and we have found a 1923 postcard made from one of his railroad shots. We also saw in the late 1970s a professionally done 16 mm movie (1 hour plus) that either he or a hired hand along with him did on one of his African trips - I remember some footage of a Mau Mau ritual chase where villagers ran a Rhino to exhaustion and than did it in with a hand knife! phenonominal footage! Anyway, does anyone know any bits and pieces about his photography work?
