Was looking at these triggers in the Brownells website and found one that says: AR-15/M16/AR-STYLE .308 HI-SPEED SSA/SSF TRIGGER. Then when I pull it up it is described as: .154" Hi-Speed SSA Trigger. The sku# is 100-003-620 and was wondering if it will fit my Bushmaster .223 carbine? The price is $175 and I can get a RRA 2 stage for $120. Would like the geissele because of what I have read and heard but have not fired a weapon with either one. Am wanting to get away from the heavy creepy pull of the factory trigger. I am using this gun for plinking and carbine matches every now and then and some shooting from sandbags, just cuz I like to shoot like that some too.

Small pin is approximately .156 so that SSA will work in your BM. Colt used larger trigger group pins, approximately .176, for a while and that is what causes the confusion.

Hound, Thanks for the reply. I was wondering if these triggers are for some lower that is made for .308 cal or if that is just part of the name of the product. Would not want to buy it to install in my BM .223 if for some reason it is made for a .308. Thanks again for the reply, I appreciate it.

308 lowers are the same pin size as the 223 lowers...
We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
