Iv shot the fnp 45 auto & I can tell u its a real nice shooting gun.It holds 15 rounds,the triger is a da/sa.Sa is about 4 pounds.It comes with 3 14 round mags,3 dot fixt sights,u can get night sights for it

There's a right-up on the FN FNP pistols in the newest issue of the American Rifleman. If I was in the market I'd be taking a serious look at them.

Yeah but you must realize that I am a Dinosaur and all the new & fancy high tech crunchentickers don't flip my switch. For heavy work I still prefer the 1911 and for less serious care a revolver with my most high tech carry a Kel Tec .P-32. If it wasn't so big for pocket carry in jeans I would have the Colt Model M 1903 there instead.

i had a fnp 45 fullsize a few months ago,great shooter . very big grip and frame,mine had the extra backstraps . all of the new fnp are stainless slide and barrels to. mine had very light felt recoil with heavy loads. my only problem was the lack on acc made for these guns.

Just that the article I read portrayed the pistols in a very good light and that they'd be on my short list in the future.
