Anybody tried the factory rimfire barrels for the T/C Encore? Seems like a good add-on for practice, but I'd like to know how/if they work. I'm familiar with the Contender rimfire system, but it looks like the Encore works differently--it appears to me as if the barrel and chamber are bored slightly offset or angled so the center fire pin hits the rimfire ctg. Is that how it works? (This used to be a common way for old- school gunsmiths to make a rimfire barrel for takedown centerfire single shots back in the late 19th and early 20th centuries).
Have any of the gun mags done a review of these?
Any input gratefully accepted!

I reviewed a .22 Long Rifle Encore barrel for Varmint Hunter magazine a year or so ago. The rear of the barrel is offset inside a breechblock. I can't remember off the top of my head exactly how the barrel shot, but it was definitely better than average.

I have a 23" (standard weight) offset Match Grade Machine barrel for my Encore. It shoots lights out. I actually use it more than any other .22 that I own. For $350.00 you can't beat them.
