Not a smart thing to do after the shaft we got in Florida last year.
There is more to the story. She was hired to be a radio sports reporter that only covered University of Arkansas sports. Her facebook and twitter accounts were over run with how much she hated covering the hogs and how much she loved the gators. Several people had mentioned to her the morning of the press conference that the hat was not a good idea. Even the quarterback Mallet questioned it.
It's hard to do your job when you piss off the person your supposed to interview and also piss off the audience. No one to interview, no audience, she can find another job. Maybe the gators will hire her.
Now, had it been a Texas hat back in the SWC days, she probably wouldn't have made it out of the building.

In the end I bet there's more than enough qualified people lining up to replace her...and won't wear Florida Gator gear. That's pretty much what it boils down to.
