My son and I are within 3 days of putting a deposit down on a hunt in Zim. We are also going back to Dallas, for the safari club convention. The DSC convention is a total blast! Who all is going that posts here?

I am. Always go to Dallas and go to SCI in Reno every three years or so. Just too much eye candy to miss.

Last year was the first year that I have missed in about 20 years or so, but I had a table that I let an outfitter use...I am not sure about this year, I may just wait until the economy turns around..I been taking time to stop and smell the roses for the last two years..

I have always thought Dallas was one of the best shows out there, at least it has been for me..The folks are friendly and easy to do business with, it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to get in and you don't have to join a club to buy a ticket..I have done all the shows and I can't see a bad side to Dallas, but I am sure everyone doesn't feel the same..I know a bunch of folks that just hate SCI Reno or Vegas, but again I like those shows also..
