I was wondering if anyone out there has a good load for a 22 Hornet using the 40 grain Barnes Varminators. I have a Ruger 77/22 Hornet and I have been loading the 45gr Nosler solid base over 12.4 grains of lil' gun. I was thinking of using the barnes when the gophers come out because they are about half the price of the barnes.
