The swarosky is a piece of junk,,I owned two of them,,took both of them back to cabellas...On my second one, I tested 7 different units there before i found one that worked properly.
Dont waste your money on the swaro,,get the new leica 1600 in aug when they come out. I use my Leica 1200 for now and my gps for shots to 2,000 yards.
cheers zman

I like the Leica CRF because it is small enough to keep on a tether in my shirt pocket.
Translation: when my brother is dumping his pack and digging frantically for his rf because we were not expecting to see anything...I've already ranged and am putting one in the pipe.

Have the Leica 1200 CRF....had a L RXIV and sold it POS....Mate has a bushnell and it ranges to what it says it will....If you dont push the ranges the little nikon does OK....Swaro was slow to read and big compared to the CRF but went further
Lots upgrading to the Geovids...but to many $$ for me.. the new Leica 1600 might be on the shopping list though
Hunting fishing its all good

cheers zman Very little makes sense on this post, my Swaro will range quite accurate to at least a mile (1760yds), like to see what gps you have that will range you to 2,000 yards before the shot. B
