What you have to keep in mind is that the general run of the mill voter makes up his mind on the way to vote. What may sway his position is something as simple as whose name was on the last sign he saw. Truth of the matter is, Parnel should not have won. He made no effort what so ever. Look at Mike Guiterez who we are stuck with on the assembly. The way he won was a little song where he name was repeated the whole time. People have no idea what he stand for and now we are paying the price with another liberal on the assembly. Parnel and Hollis French were the two most liberal candidates running for governor. One won, the other lost. WHY???? Miller ran using the same mantra O'bama did. I'm not saying he's Obama, but if the republicans take over the senate he won't do a damn bit of good for Alaska, because the senate runs on a whole different set of rules than anywhere else. I was extremely offended when, Ginrich implied that he didn't care that much what they stood for he just wanted more "R"'s elected and they could massage things from there. I thought Jeeezzz, that's not conservative I thought he was conservative, YET THAT'S THE EXACT SAME METHOD THE DEMS USE SO THEY HAVE THE CONTROL. Truth of the matter Lisa is not as conservative as I would like, but she's in a hell of a lot better postion to help Alaska than Miller is. People that voted for Miller did so as a jump on the band wagon throw the bums out theory. Well guess who the bum will be next time around!!! That's the problem with not having a strategy, and the problem with having an unsophisicated public. I believe it was Jefferson that argued the only people that should be allowed to vote is the property owners. They are the ones with skin in the game. If dancing with the stars had been on all day yesterday the election could have come out a whole lot different. That is a sad thing. It's no wonder we have the looser we have in the oval office.

Interesting to me that people were so hot to get Miller in because he is conservative but the most conservative person running for governor (Samuels) also got the least number of votes. Just another example of how fickle people that vote are.

Seems to me there were a lot more people worried about the senate vote than the governor. I heard a lot more about Miller than Samuels and Walker during this primary election.

I'm not a registered Republican so I wasn't able to vote in the primary election. How in the hell does someone win a primary election without even campaigning??

People sure are fickle, can't believe Lisa is out and captain zero is in.

Can't believe I'm thinking it, but I might vote for Berkowiz over captain zero, and I've never voted for a democrat.

I'd just as soon as not vote before I vote for Berkotwit, I WON'T vote for that Demoncrat.

By the way 458, I talked with Greer Welding about some racks for my smoker, looks like i'm going to get some expanded metal racks cut and just use those. For $14.25 each I couldn't do any better, just have to be a little more proactive with keeping it oiled (veg oil) so it won't rust.

1960 votes separate Murky and Miller with 16,000 absentee ballots to count.

Kinda funny a guy named Treadwell could get elected here.

So tell me how a democrat that has a clue about business is worse than a anti business head up his azz republican? The state is screwed if Juneau doesn't do an about face and become pro business.

Exactly, that's why I can't understand how Samuels wasn't a shoe in. Truth of the matter is he was the only free market capitalist in the mix.

Why do feel like the days waiting for the jury in Ted's trial, waiting for the votes to be counted for Lisa with the the election mail-ins? Maybe she learned from her daddy how the democraps run elections? Time to pull off another scam?

All this damn waiting is BS, there's got to be a better way to do this. We probably won't know until next week who actually won the primary election. As it stands right now, Miller is still ahead by 1490 votes.

I'd vote for Satan before I'd vote for Berkowitz.

Berkowitz is a semi-professional politician in search of an electorate.

He ran against Sarah and Sean and lost.

He ran against Young and lost.

Now he's running statewide again.

Did Berky run for Anch mayor?
