Not to discourage you in any way, but how much money are we talking here? Just curious.
Now with even more aplomb

in your research i hope you looked at borden rifles and ultra light arms also as their rifles at 2995.00 would be hard to beat in my opinion.

Yup. I would add Borden to that list and keep it high up on it as well. If I'm not mistaken, McWhorter uses Borden actions on some of his builds.

The Borden will shoot that with ease and perhaps the McWhorther as well. Never really heard anyone rave about the accuracy of the Brown rifles though.

Jim Borden will build a rifle as well as anybody with what you are looking for and remember about all the top builders including mcwhorter use jims actions and have their name machined on it

Thinking I'd be all over a NULA with a #2 cut to 23" in either .270 or .06

Ed Brown quit making customs. Order your own parts, and have Gradous rifles put it together for you. What caliber? Weight? Barrel? Building a custom with your own specs is enjoyable & addictive. Good 'smith here..... http://www.24hourcampfire.com/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php/topics/4263870/2

WW22- What do you want to hunt mainly, do you like barrel heavy guns, do you like light weight, do you want stainless, do you want cerakote, do you want push feed, do want walnut, do you want bottom metal, do you a personal smith to work with you, do you want this make barrel or that, do you want a standard length of pull?
You see, a custom rifle is all about what YOU WANT...
That's a large majority of the fun of doing a custom!

Tim McWhorter is a top notch builder. He has all the components to get started on one right away. Borden, Stiller, and Defiance actions. An assortment of McMillan stocks, Hart and Krieger barrels. I have several of his rifles on various actions and they all shoot lights out. Give Allan Rovig and call and talk it over with him. Great guy with tons of shooting and hunting knowledge.

None are more accurate, but some are close.
