I saw the thread below debating different 17 HRM's.
I sold my NEF 17 to a friend who has been wanting one. It was accurate as can be but I wanted a bolt rifle.
My Father in Law has a pre 2004 Marlin that shoots wonderful but the trigger sucks.
I am looking at a new Marlin to replace it with. I am also concidering a Ruger 77/17 blued rifle as it is pretty. Has anyone had good experience witht he Ruger's?
I need to get into something pretty quick as Ground Squirrels will be out in force here in Idaho shortly.

I have a couple of the rugers. They are nice and I really like the flush magazine. Past that the Marlin with the T900 trigger is my next favorite. Note the CZ is pretty nice too.

Two words for you.
SEA. ZEE.
Twist a nut ans tune the trigger, and easy to bob the mags if you don't like the long appearance. Only way to fly.
What does it mean when the primers fall out of the case?
