Bluedot,
That's a great story. Sure wish I lived in MT.

T3 Hunter in 6.6 X 55. Warnes rings and a Buris 2 X 6 Signiture scope. Only loads I've tried so far are some RWS 140 gr. Getting 2 inch groups. I'll be working up some reloads in the next couple of weeks.

338 fed that's the only decent pict I have of the bull, didn't have a camera out in the woods...learned my lesson, always carry a camera now.
Living in MT is pretty decent, I was born and raised in So Dak, great upland and waterfowl, ok big game. MT has decent upland and waterfowl and great big game opportunity. What I love most out here is the small town rural communities. To get the permit for the area that I shot the bull in took me 13 yrs.

Rath, Adjustable for pull weight only. I have it adjusted to a nice light pull weight, but the creep and overtravel are the worst of any rifle I have ever owned. When I bought it I thought no big deal, I'll adjust it. But no such luck. Somebody who is so inclined might take the trigger apart and stone the surfaces or whatever. I will just get rid of the thing. There are plenty of other options.

Sorry to hear about your rifles trigger problems, mine and others I have used have had zero creep.
Cheers, Rath

T3 Hunter in 6.5x55 T3 Lite in 25-06 T3 Lite in 7-08 T3 Lite in 30-06
Biggest problem encountered so far is in working up handloads. They shoot everything so well it was difficult to say one load was better than the others. Basically just picked out the velocity level desired.

My .22-250 shoots like a heavy barreled varmint rifle with 52 gr. sierras and H380.
I bought a couple boxes of black hills ammo(can't recall weights--the real light bullet, 38gr?) and it even shot that into 1" groups.
Excellent trigger on that and my A7.
