I think it's harder for guys who don't live in the mountains or near them either to get out there and scout each fall to pick up patterns and trends of the critters.

It takes a few years with WT's to "get it" and some people never spend enough time out there to really understand the patterns and how the bucks move vs. the does. Same should be true for Elk.

Elknuts stuff is real good, also get Steve Chappel's Exteme elk calling CD it is excellent also.

Steve Chappell's stuff is excellent. It has really big bulls to boot. His latest one has a hunt with Corey Jacobson, not a better caller out there than him.
