my guess is they're privy to some good economic minds and realize we're not going to double dip, but continue the descent economically.
if they don't completely hold the reins of power they can share the blame for what looks to be coming, harder economic times.
whomever is qb or POTUS will get the lions share of the blame for fumbling the ball, but he can blame the O line/Congress for letting the LB thru untouched.
many folks are partisan enough they will continue to blame the other side to get their party in power. There's enough blame and enough time thru different administrations that they are all to blame.
I'm hoping if nada else our country will have the collective will to strip all the pensions and benefits from current and former members of both Houses and Executive branches.
but doubt it will happen, they'll live good after selling America down the tubes.
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.

Maybe so.
Many of my neighbors are blind or are ignoring all the 'hand writing on the wall'.
It could continue, just because of them.
Our pensions, (and freedoms), are at risk, from this government of vampires.
While we still have the vote, we have to vote them all out.
It's our only chance.
