My project in process is one that I started on a wild hair out of parts I picked up off of Gun Broker and Ebay. Dont have pics yet.

-Pre-Garcia Sako L61R Finnbear Magnum action

-Krieger SS, 1-8" twist, 26", #4, .264 barrel, chambered to 6.5x.300 Wby

-Stock is carved out of a beautiful slab of Claro walnut. But theres good news and bad news. Good news: I got the stock for free with the purchase of the action. Bad news: The previous owner tried to inlet the stock himself and got up to 1/16 gap around the receiver area. Good news: Its amazing what kinds of evils you can hide with Acraglas and dye.

-Pillar bedded w/Acraglas gel with powdered stainless steel reinforcement fill. Barrel floated.

-Decelerator pad

-Will use Warne or Millet scope ring mounts

Bring enough gun and know how to use it.

Know that it is not the knowing, nor the talking, nor the reading man, but the doing man, that at last will be found the happiest man. - Thomas Brooks (1608-1680)
