In 3 weeks I'd hope you had chosen and zero'd in and practiced plenty by then...

I don't think you'll find an issue with the AB... but I"ve never seen a failure of a TSX... my buddy guides up there... I load him almost totally 225 tsx and now ttsx IIRC... he carries some 250s at times when he is backing up big bear.....

I can't think of a 250 that would not leave the fault on your hands.

My choice would be the 250 grain Swift A Frame bullet! They stay together, mushroom perfect near everytime and the wound channel is larger than most. If there are big bears in your hunt area, then choose the 275 grain bullet.

For God sakes son....take your .338 and kill a Moose with whatever bullet you're sighted in with.

Good luck and please report back with pictures about your hunt.

BTW---Luiss...I really hope you have a great hunt. Your fretting over caliber and bullet choice for a year has me on pins and needles for you and the success that can and will be yours. Just don't measure that success by blood spilled. A lot can be gleaned from just going and listening and learning and watching and thinking.

God bless, be safe and have FUN!

That's my friend's favorite in his slightly bigger 340 Wby.

Any 250 grain hunting bullet that shoots good through your rifle.

A single 225 TSX worked extremely on the 3rd of this month for me. It is my bullet of choice.

It has been my favorite bullet for a few years now, although I also like the 250-grain TSX.

I use the 225 Accubond at 2750 fps and it has dropped two bull elk in their tracks. I would not hesitate to use the accubond in the 338.

Just remember if you lean to a partition... don't expect tons of penetration... thats not how they are designed.... IE don't take an iffy shot with one and expect an exit wound.

Hmm.....I don't concur with this at all, totally different from my findings and the first time I ever heard one say don't expect tons of penetration with a Noz. But, experiences do very.
