Sent my 1895 back early April for a "Cowboy" conversion (octagon barrel) most recent phone call says they are moving the plant and it will be at least ANOTHER 90 days before work will be done! Story is they have all parts except fore-end? Continue to build and sell complete Cowboys with fore-end why cant I get one on mine? People I talk to are unfailingly pleasant and polite but as I have no rifle cant say theyve been particularly helpful. Is this the new Remington/Marlin repair/customer service? Anyone else have similar experiences? At this stage im debating just getting my original rifle back.
