Given my weakness for screwing around with different loads, and my penchant for more speed, I have a box of 225 grn Hornady SP's that might just make a fair piggie & deer load. I use RL15 for the 270 grainers. Any suggestions for the 225's?

e4e loaded me a bunch of ammo for my 375 H&H when I got it from him. (like 350 shells) The big game loads were 260 partitions but he also loaded a bunch of ammo with (I think so take it with a grain of salt right now till I check) 220gr bullets meant for use in a old 375 winchester. He way download some and claimed they were the perfect whitetail round as you could eat right up to the hole. Boom. Big hole fall right over. The others he loaded way up as long range varmit rounds and said if I hit a praire dog all you would find was toenails. (grin) They were designed to be shot at old slow 375 Win velocities and basicaly exploaded at high velocities.

I sold most the ammo to mssgn and he said the varmit rounds belched fire out the barrell of his 375 H&H and he almost blinded himself looking through the scope. LMAO

Tex

email or PM me for Pat (e4e's) phone or email. He has done a lot of work on 375 H&H load developement recently and if you haven't talked to him on the phone its worth the phone call. He is fun and passionate about this stuff and just fun to talk to in general.

I emailed him last night actually about loading some more ammo ofr me.

still got most of them!

I've been playing with flintlocks and 308s lately. My 375 is sorely neglected!
