The best kee kee I produce is on a mouth call. Generally it's easier on a single bat wing style cut and you put your tongue to the upper right or upper left of the call and learn to whistle on it. Once you can get a whistle from it you can learn to get a cadence rolling.
My second choice would be a crystal topped pot call and a super hard striker.
I can't call with a mouth call and I'm too old to chase after a flock and split them up, so I just have to watch and wait. I locate birds and watch them daily to pattern their routine. Then I just hunker down and wait. It paid off Saturday afternoon. My first one ever with a bow. A big one??????? Not bu any means, but a GREAT memory for this ol'coot!!!

Nowadays people know the price of everything and the value of nothing.
Wise men speak because they have something to say; fools because they have to say something. - Plato
This is the first year I have used a call. I use a slate call and it brought a gobbler in thsi spring and the clucking call brought a flock of hens back together for me to bag one this fall
