I tested it a few yrs back with the Weaver T16 shown... Shoots OK....just need to tweak a load for it.... I really have no use for it....thats why I've offered it F/S

Guys-
One of the guys in the cabin next to ours in Pa. shoots one of these and sits on a gas line up on top of the mountain. He has made several incredibly long shots with that rifle. 'Took him a while to work up the right load, and I have no idea what he shoots through it, but it sure can reach out and touch things! I helped him drag in a spiker a few years back, and it fell so far from where he shot, I asked him if he took the shot, walked to where the bullet fell, reloaded and shot again! 'Must have been a good 500 yards plus.

I have my great uncle's which was sporterized but not near as handsome as this one. It has no scope on it. He bought it from Sears many years ago for $7.50 I believe. I competed in a high power rifle match with it to get to by a DCM M1 Garand. Standing slow fire, I shot 187 out of 200 at 100 yds. That was with std mil surplus 150 grain fmj. If you can immulate that load with today's powders, it might work. Good luck with it.
