Got the Ron Hielman soule sight in the mail today. Not the fanciest sight in the world, but for 285$ I think it'll do fine. Thing seems to be a solid as a rock. Need to get it mounted and start shooting to see how it does hold up.

Whatcha going to mount it on?

I've been sanding on the ebony pistol grip that I posted about under Single Shots.

Man, that's some hard stuff, and that black sawdust is nasty!

Paul its going on Buttugly. With the patched load I've got it running now, add a good sight that isn't flappin around like a dishrag in the wind. And I did some modifications to the front end of the comb so its more comfortable in my hand. I believe the scores may come up a goodly amount this next season.

OK, who or what is Buttugly? We know a few shooters who could qualify!

Ain't the most svelte rifle we've seen, that's for sure.

Dang, with that tall sight and big barrel it looks like it can shoot a far piece.

What cartridge does it shoot?

Had Ron build one for a Shiloh Hartford a souple years ago and it was a great sight and the price was unbeatable.

Guns don't kill people, it's mostly the bullets
