I seen a guy pick one up once, it was a wild one he rolled it onto its back with a big stick andused another to pin down the tail. picked it up by the underside of the tail and held it for us to see, it was crazy! then he took off my ball cap and swatted the quills with it. I couldn't wear that hat the rest of the trip.

I'm trying to convince my boss to let me hunt his farm for opener, maybe I can get my lady and my boy to go out there and get a doe. she's never hunted before and is excited to maybe go. I'm gonna bribe him with blue berry pie and chocolate chip cookies, should be a sure thing wink

they do make an SD card reader that plugs into the USB port, IIRC they are about 10 bucks.

also walmart has a photo machine that reads SD cards, you could check em out on that, even print some out if you want smile

lol, thats what I thought! they are blue berries I picked up at camp this summer, so you know they gotta be good (and they are) plus they have deer camp Mojo in them, so it works in a subliminal espn type of thing. laugh

I talked to my friend I used to work with yesterday. He found this in the area that he got shot while bow hunting a few years ago. He was walking through the woods and saw 2 wolves. They took off and he stood there for a while. He walked in the direction they were and found this. I guess it is the second one he found this year, the other one was a doe.

did it get hit by a car or did they chase it down? The horn is busted which is why I asked about the car.

He said it was pretty far into the woods. It is hard to tell. He thinks they chased it down.

I just had the strangest job interview of my life. It was over the phone, which is not weird, quite normal, but the woman interviewing me seemed to know more about me than I did. I'm not sure how I feel about that?

that is odd, perhaps you should have been asking her questions about you?

seriously though that would make me feel a little weird as well, if she knows that much, why even have an interview?

They did that for sure.

I'm not saying any of this is bad because it's quite the oposite. I just thought it was wierd for a phone interview. It is a letgit job, so that is a good sign.

The more I sit and think about this, it is less wierd, some of could be pretty helpful to someone who didn't know some of the things the interviewer explained.

I think the lady was very prepared for the interview, right down to how long it should take me to get to thier office from my house. Which is as simple as plugging my address into mapquest or any of the others, but potentially helpful if you didn't know the area.

There must have been a reason for me taking today off work.

I was out looking for deer early this am and got a call from a frantic Special K. (My wife) She was on her way to work in her new car, met a gravel truck and one of the tires came off and came rolling to beat hell right at her. Smacked her in the drivers side front and went over the windshield. Messed up the car pretty bad. The truck driver didn't even slow down. The state patrol is going to the active pits in the area to tell them to keep an eye out for the truck. He is also going to patrol the area watching for it as well.

Thank God that thing didn't come through the windshield. We are counting our blessing this morning.

Jeezus. That could have been bad...badder. Thank God she didn't get hurt. Cars are easy to replace. Hopefully they catch the clown, because there ain't no way in hell he didn't know he lost a shoe.

Probably saw exactly what happened and decided he didn't want any part of it.

It might be better if you found him not the sherrif. wink
