Anyone have any good bullet (270 to 300 grain) and powder combos that you would recommend that I try for my 375 H&H? Any experiences with the Hornady roundnose bullets?

bearstalker,
I just got my Montana Rifle Company 375 H&H up and running. I got great results with the Hornady 300 RN and 76 grains of 4350. The 300 grain Partitions didn't like 4350 but they loved 80 grains of Vihtavouri N160. I tried the Sierra 300 grain BT's with 4350, N160 and 4320. The Sierras liked all of the choices and they all ran 2500 fps. I am planning on using the Partitions for everything but have heard good reports on the Hornady RN. Good luck. Mart
Chronographs, bore scopes and pattern boards have broke a lot of hearts.

My model 70 likes the 300 partition and n160. You can get factory seconds at the factory in Bend,Oregon or through the mail from them. They have discoloration or nose imperfections. I've had good luck with them.

I use 76 grains W760 with the 300 gr. Sierra in my model 70. It will group into 5/8" and cronographs at about 2,530 fps. Has anyone had any experience with the 250 gr. Sierra? How about performance on game?
