Anyways just thought I'd let you all know that Dave finally landed in Indy around 12:15 today. Sounds like the flight from Hibbing to Minneapolis last night was interesting since his text only said "that was not cool". We didn't get any snow here last night, just rain, rain and more rain. The road out to camp aught to be real interesting now that's for sure.

Well thanks for all the nice comments on the kitchen cabinets. I had alot of help from RWS. It was marathon painting to keep up with him. Now we need to do something with the floor.

That's good news. They were showing the planes landing on the news last night and it didn't look fun at all! I'm not sure I'd have gotten on the next plane.



It's a deer camp. I'd probably leave the floor as is. Especially with Dave around.

Plush white carpeting would be nice to squish your frozen toes into after a long sit in the stand though.

It would really brighten the place up.

It wasn't much better in Indy, they had a lot of wind there, too. Some tornado warnings up that way, too, and some funnel clould sightings (no touchdowns, though) Here in Louisville, we had some wind and driving rain, but not enough to help our drought much. More funnel clouds, again, no touchdowns.

Had elk burgers for supper. My friend gave me 2 pounds of it. Yummy!

Well my friend by the name of berettaman was supposed to get me some elk meat when he got back from his trip. I haven't heard from him. Hope he's just busy and nothing is wrong.

Where is he. Hope everything is ok. When is he suposed to be back?

I thought he was supposed to be back last Wednesday. I'm hoping I'm wrong. He did say they expeceted a big snow storm on the 4th day or something, so that may have held them up.

anyone have his number to give him a call? maybe he shot one so far in the back country he's gonna stay til he's eaten it all

Pam and dave, maybe for the kitchen floor area you just pick up those sticky tiles at menards, we did that at deer camp and they've stuck good for years now. alot easier to clean and quick to put down. they are very reasonable too. many different patterns that don't have flowers too. I think the calendar would be a nice chickenbuck addition as well along with the cabinets!

I put a piece of sheet vinyl down on my cabin's kitchen floor. It went down REALLY easily and looks great. Unlike the tiles, it is just one big piece.

I think Menards has it on sale right now.

I still have that vinyl we were going to put in our laundry room. I have to lay it out and measure it to see if it will fit in the kitchen of the shack. If it will you guys can have it.

Berettaman is back and safe. I'll let him tell the hunting story.

I just got a call from Steve at JB Custom apparel and the position has been filled. He told me he would keep my application on file for further openings. Dang it!
