Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.

I don't own a single rifle in a deer hunting caliber that is not a lever gun... hell, that is not a 99... If I was going to be stateside for MO rifle season I would of course be using a 99... might still find my way out to some other states to hunt... Here is a pic of a barrel band 99H in 303 that I shot a few hogs with in Feb

I will be toting my Winchester 1895 405 WCF AMRA Another classic you don't see much, especially around here. What part of 'Bama you hunting in ARMA? I'll split my time between the Cahaba River WMA and the Childersburg side of the Talladega National Forrest.

This year, I am thinking of giving my son the Marlin 336 in .35 Rem. Call me crazy, all I shoot with it is hogs anyway.

I did carry the ol' .30-30 Marlin afield this year when I knew I was going into the thick stuff. It was a lot of fun.

I'll be taking a 336 marlin 30-30 and a 99 in 243 for deer. I'm pumped! I might as well add a pic too, 5x6 bull marlin 336 30-30 2 shots at 50 yards I coulda covered with a 50 cent piece, both through the heart. I didn't need the second one, he was stiff legged and dead on his feet, but he was NOT getting away
