Has anyone seen shot or have any info about them. ? I was wondering if they shot as well as the Reg. Bar ? I'm very tempted to trade my bar in on one in .308 win.
sometimes you get the bear, sometimes he gets you, either way it's exciting

There's a write up in the April issue of the NRA magazine "American Hunter". It looks like a sleek version of the ol' BAR. Aluminum frame .308 weighs in at 6 lbs. 10 oz. It has an adjustable stock and is available in the WSM's. If you like your current one it looks like it would not disappoint.

My local dealer here in central Wis had a heck of a hard time getting the short trac's----especially in 308. I just bought a barII in 308 with the syn stock and metal reciever this last fall. I just handled one of his shor trac's---WOW--Superior in every way. (just got 8 in stock and great wood too---hand rubbled walnut is what it looks like---gorgeous. Not sure if this was a special shipment cause he waited so long or what. That short trac really turned me off at first when I saw the pic's---looked like funky European stuff. BUT go handle one and you will love it. Wow--I should thin down the gun safe--all I need is a short trac and a Tikka T-3--I'll be set for anything///almost anywhere!!
