Mini-man had to do a school project. He had to discuise a turkey so it can make it through thanksgiving.

He decided to make it a buck. So now there is a turkeybuck.

I told him it was deer season and he said well, then it will probably die anyway.

Stopped at Cabelas yesterday to replace the headlight I lost in Colorado (the guide still has it actually cuz he didnt have one). Got me a Cabela XPG, whatever that means. throws a heckuva beam I tell ya. Yep, I am wearing it right now.

I gotta go throw my orange stuff in the leaf pile today. then I gotta plant the obligatory orange hat in the front window of my truck. Tradition ya know.

It's hard to tell in the pic, but the wings are blaze orange as is the thingy on his head. It's deer season ya know.

I put all my stuff out on the deck to air out. She's a blowin today. birds are squackin because I'm using the feeders for blaze orange hangers.

My basement looks like a cabelas exploded. I found the head lamp I've been looking for over a year for. Whodda guessed it would be found in a new house?

I have to steal clip some pine boughs from the neighbors because I don't have any pines in the yard.

Maybe just some ice cubes woudl be great for the crapolades....i think dave should put some floating lights in the moat too. pretty dark down there.

Now seriously, ya gotta bushwhack 'em. Get some of Natty Light and lay down a scent trail from all corners of the swamp to a nice open elevated and hopefully reinforced stand. Then you leave a case of Natty in the open for him to come into.

When he steps out blammo, kablam, boom, pow, pop, whammo from everybody set up in a ambush and down he'll go. And best part no having to outrun T-zone and Ryan getting away from the squid.

Thats what I'd do mmhmm, yep.

One doesn't have to run real fast to out run Tzone.
