I just bought a used Bushmaster. It has the "standard" butt stock. As in the military, I find the stock is about 3/4 of an inch too short for me for comfortable shooting. What is the best way to lengthen the stock? What is the easiest? TIA; Kirt

The easiest is a hunk'a 3/4" plywood and duct tape. The best is something else. .........sorry to make ya waste that TIA!

Check out Brownells.com they have stock spacers. I'm 5'10" and find that in reality I like the A1 shortest stock the best. But my glasses get bumped by the rear sight all the time and that forces me to use the A2 stock unfortunately. YMMV

Well, at least you didn't tell me to wear a thicker jacket.
BTW, it seems I have an A2 stock.

Nice to know you can count on some things in this world!

Funny thing is I like the short stock in matches. But for reasons I have to use the long stock. And since I shoot under strict equipment rules the only way I can get the pull to work with my glasses the best way is to add an extra pad inside my shooting jacket
Later, Jeff
