I have a Pre 64 model 70 375 H&H with a vintage Weaver V5
2 3/4 x 5 scope for sale or possibly some partial trades. The gun has been used but not abused. The serial #82xxx puts the year of manufacture at 1948. The rear sight has been removed and the holes were filled with screws and someone tried to smooth out the fit and removed about 1/4" of blueing around each hole with emery cloth or similar. It has a white line recoil pad that I don't know if it is original or after market, but must have been put on 50 - 60 years ago as is hardened with age. I am looking for Stainless mini 14, 10-22,
.380 LCP ruger, or Walther PPK-s .380. There are no major hits in the wood but a bit of wear in front of the bolt and various dings and dents of a 60 year old hunting rifle from Butte Montana, but the blueing is probably 70 -80 percent. The price is $1700 but will consider the above trades for partial payment. PM me and I will try to get pictures to your email address this evening. I also have a Winchester 1903 22 win auto that has virtually no blueing on the receiver or the end cap on the forend, but probably has at least 85% blueing on the barrel for sale or trade, same things as above. For sale for $600.
