I picked up a Lone Eagle single-shot pistol package, including .30-06. .444 Marlin, and .410/.45LC barrels. These seem likely candidates for white-tail and small bear in Virginia. The problem is that I have no way of currently shooting them all, as the action (breech, extractor and firing-pin) are now assembled in the .30-06 version only. Two questions then: is it worth it? And, does anyone have instructions on how to mount the Breech action from one caliber to the other? The .30-06 is shooting groups of 3-4" @ 100m, via a Leupold 4x 20 scope. Any suggestion, light-hearted or no?
