After 16 years of bow hunting off and on, some years seriously some years not so much, and finally connected on one 2 days ago. 18 yards, direct heart shot, 50 yard sprint and it was all over. 3 weeks ago I finally invested in a good set up, a mathews Drenalin, good arrows, good camo, and a pricey set of broadheads. Not that equipment makes the kill, but alot of confidence in your set up doesn't hurt. It was a doe, no pictures taken so no eye candy or big antlers to mount, but I'll tell you that after so many years that was quite a trophy to me.
