I know.there were 5 and 6 shot Super Redhawk.

But was there a 480 Redhawk?

No, there never was a .480 Redhawk. Actually, very few 5-shot cylinders made it into production and when they did they were only in Alaskan models.

What was the the difference in the Alaskan model? I know there was the end of the shroud snubbie, was there another one?

I hate unscrewing those barrels. Broke one off one time in 44. Had to bore out the center of the barrel and pull out the thread. But if I want a longer barrel on one.............

Its off to the "for sale" section.
