Didn't see anything tonight. Snow storm is moving in, hope my hunting partners make it here safe.

Sumptin's moving in. we had a doe try to get on the deck tonight to eat the bird seed in the feeders. I have a running away pic on my phone camera. I spooked her when I broght my phone up to take the pic. That's a first for me, never seen that until tonight.

One doe on the pole, justins from friday morning. It's just been dead for us, damn cold too, single didgits all day today.

well thats somethin anyway! still got today to slay em.

I was going to head up north to Duluth but we have a hell of an ice problem here today. Cars all over the road in ditches, sliding all over....it's just a deer. I'll get one a different day.

I'm not going to make it to chickenbuck though. We're having T-giving here, so all the families are coming to our house, then I won't really be able to hunt on Sunday, because I have to work on Monday. It's a 6 hour drive with good weather.

It's looking like I won't be out much with the smoke pole either. I'll get a day or two in though.

we're doing thanksgiving and christmas 2 day later so grandpa and grandma can get a jump on the weather for heading south. so I might be able to do a little hunting down there opening weekend. anfter that it will be a crap shoot on when I can get out and for how long, but hey, hunting is hunting

Final moments of the 2010 deer firearms season. 5 deer total for the camp this year. Most of us went the whole season without seeing a deer. Very poor hunting overall, food plots next year and a few more nice stands like the one I'm sitting in tonight.

Black powder opens next weekend. I need to get the old plow truck going this week, I think we got 6 inches of snow.

We got rain and I had to pace up and down the house. I didn't want to risk going north with the ice we have. It's raining now but temp is in the low 30's.

It looks like the sharp shooters got their share this year in your country.

Dave, I'm by Hinckley and we've been putting in more food plots every year, makes a huge difference. We still have wolves like you (they suck) but our deer numbers have shot up over the last 3 years. Do you have access to a tractor?
