I am back from my MO deer hunt and was successful. It was hard fighting the moon and the warm days but it all paid off on 11/17 @ 2:15PM; he was checking does as he worked his way down through a big thicket.

I hunt on my families 2K acres in SE MO west of Cape near Buckhorn. I know there are bigger in MO but I am extremely happy.

I want to say thanks to everyone in MO they where very nice to this TX boy while I was up there for the week. I will be back next year.

Congratulations! Nice deer, pretty typical MO deer, at least where I hunt, anyway.

I got mine opening morning at about 0710, on my uncle's place, about a quarter mile behind his house. For years and years, he's been telling us to hunt behind the house, by that cedar thicket. For once, I showed some sense and listened to him.

You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.
