I bought a Polaris Ranger. I want a windshield that opens down so as to be able to shoot over it. All I can find is tilt up windshields. I am told you can not drive with them tilted up and have them remain up. Anyone know where I can get one that unlocks and bends in the middle? Thanks.

May have to do that but when I do stuff like this I normally could buy it ready made cheaper before I am finished. Was hoping someone had some info.

George, It is a 2005 4x4. Getting too old to try to get around the ranch on foot or on horse back.. A horse is to much trouble to keep. Hope the Polaris is less trouble. That golf cart suppy place sounds good to me.

I've got a '02 w/bucket seats and a podna has '03 with bench seats. We both fabbed a whole top and w/s for ours. Soon as rain quits I'll try to get pix! Mine has a w/s that folds upward cuz of the hood design. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />--- <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />George

That rain is a difficulty. I have not been able to get out to my place since Sept. because of wet ground. One reason I finally broke down and got the Ranger.

Really nice looking. I can tell more talent resides in your little finger than in my whole body. Is it hinged at the bottom of the windshield. What kind of hinge. I figue if I can get the pop ou w/s, then hinge it. then figure out how to secure it , I have it made. Maybe just cutting hinging it and securing it will work.

I have had 2 Polaris Big Boss,s, the 1 seat configuration 6 Wheeler. On my first, I thought it would be a great idea to install a windshield it worked well untill I got into our Alaska
Alders! The winshield would cock the branches preloading them then try to take my head off! One 1" branch went across my eye and put me off the machine I thought it took my eye out. My cousin said it was in the socket but bigger than the other eye! I have not put another winshield on my new Big Boss and can,t see doing so! On the Ranger it is not a problem as you are totally behind the windshield. I always wear safety glasses now when riding!

kk alaska

Alaska 7 months of winter then 5 months of tourists
