I found a LNIB model 7 in 308 this fall in a pawn shop. Paid 300 dollars for it with a low quality scope still on it. Very beautiful rifle with the walnut stocked schnable forarm. Early model for sure as there was no key lock on the bolt shroud. Took it home handloaded it for 150 gn spitzers and shot half inch groups at 100 yards. I gave it to my nephew for a birthday present and he loves it. Hope he realizes what he's got. I love the model 7's. My 7 SAUM is my first go to rifle. I'd like to find another in 243 for the neice.

That looks like a m7 FS to me, they are really hard to find.

The bottom is a FS in 308, the middle is a MS in 308..

could be...looks pretty much the same 'cept the recoil pad. i painted the stock on mine, but it was an icky green color with some kind of sand mixed into the paint for grip.

toad, every time I see your rifle I get a little light-headed!It is the epitome of a still hunting rifle in any terrain.

Finally got a used 2.5X HD on that Frontier .358, and may have to send it in for an M1 knob after deer season! The idea of a 6.5 lb., medium bore, beanfield rifle tickles me.
