Whatever a 7x57 can do a 270 can do better.
True fair chase is you in the woods buttnaked with nothing but your finger nails and teeth.
If you'e fixin' to put a hole in something, make it a hole to remember.

In August... In September... In December... Redhawk 44mag 240gr XTP at about 65yds. My best ever whitey..........so far. The last picture shows where he must have rammed a stick into his antler while they were still pretty tender.

http://i400.photobucket.com /albums/pp83/skane_image/Mike_kansas.jpg[/IMG I shot this buck at high noon on the 5th day of my south east Kansas hunt. He came out of the thicket and I hit him in the chest with my .270 and he ran about 40 yards back into the thicket.

I've enjoyed the photos thus far. My season ends next weekend and may very well come to a close with no antlers for the wall. It's been a while since that has happened but I can't seem to see a buck with any age on him. Good thing does have meat on them too....

Thanks muleshoe. You buck is a stud as well. I wish I would have taken better pictures of that Montana buck. He was extemely heavy and tall.

MONTANA First off, what big scary looking beast took that picture? And was it really your boy who killed that buck with his stick there?
