didn't they cooperate?

I had a pretty uneventful weekend, watching the boy, playing catch up on homework and housework, I need an apron that says Superdad or something, because I feel I do more than humanly possible, yet by all appearances it looks like nothing got done. its magic I tell ya.

A deer fell through the ice while walking on the swamp moat.

Must have happened just moments before I came along, he's damn lucky the squid didn't get him.

I just got a call from Pheasants forever in Kansas, I have a phone interview on wednesday! I'm pretty excited because with the feds cutting somewhere around 200,000 natural resources jobs there has been some talk of hard to get hired in the field I'm going into. they wanted me in Topeka on wednesday but alas I am in the middle of my last week of classes this week so I can't make it. I'm one of 10 people who made the cut for an interview on a nationwide listing, so thats great! I'll let everyone know how it goes

Ryan,
What are the names of the people you are talking to at PF? I know most of the bigwigs there pretty well, but I dont know anyone in Kansas. I am pretty tapped into that organization and if I could help in some way I sure would!

Oh, one more thing, I assume it is for a regional biologist position? I know exactly what those guys do, you should call me and I can discuss some of the things that you should be prepared for in the interview.

I will send a PM.

Once again, the ML season has come and gone at Camp CB. No deer but as always, it was a good time! There were lots of tracks like Dave said but the deer must be totally nocturnal. They are a bunch of dang cheater deer I tell ya!

Seen a very large doe and two fawns on the road out yesterday but by the time I got my foot on the brake, they were gone. I also seen quite a few on the way home.

Best of luck to you and the job Ryan. Keep us posted.

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.
