earlier this year i took delivery of a new upper featuring a 20" krieger barrel. the upper was designated for my competition rifle (nra/cmp high power), and i pressed it into service immediately.
late this summer i ran it in the state championships. today the final results made it to my mailbox along with a small check for finishing first in my class.
much thanks to rost495 for helping me work thru some position kinks i had earlier in the year. i easily shot out of my class, and beat some much higher ranked shooters that had a lot of experience on me. thanks again, rost!
does that make me a professional? the check was big enough to almost cover half of... one 600 count box of 75 grain hornady bthp's...
Hunting is not a matter of life or death. It is much more important than that.

HEY, Way to go!!! Pro? Nah..... I don't think there is a pro in CMP shooting... its all expenses and no glory mostly.
Feel free to PM, post or email anytime you run into a question. It was unquestionably my favorite sport and one that my wife and I actually did half azz well in for a number of years!
Wish I was retired and wealthy, nothing more I'd love to do than teach folks how to shoot service rifle well.

We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....
