I've wished for years that Ruger would make a "mini" no. 1. There's lots of cartidges that it could be chambered for, 22 & 17 rimfires and a bunch of centerfires. All the .222 based cartridges and maybe .256 Win.?

Funny you should mention the M30, my takedown has bbls in Aquila,MkII,HMR,WRF,WRM,22 REM Special, and my favorite a22bbcap heavy bull bbl, with which you can literally hit flies(sitting)!

Say Pablo,do you have a standard 4jaw offset/distance that you use to catch the CF pin strike,by displacing bore axis? I reckon that's what you mean by timing correctly.Would sure like to know,it's something I've been thinking of doing,and if you've "been there done that",any advice would be much apprecciated.

Hearing all of this talk about a Ruger No. 1 in 22 LR, makes me glad I bought a Winchester/USRA/Miroku reproduction Low Wall in 22 LR.
