A guy I know sent me this photo from his phone. He claims his friend shot this buck in PA, not exactly sure where. Has anyone seen this buck before? It looks photoshopped to me. He claims it is not.

I have not seen it on any chat forums with a photo like that one.
So unless it was shot in central PA or the eastern side - I would say it was bogus.
For the most part the deer in PA does not get that big. Looks more like a western mount.

His tines look almost as long as his legs. I don't know about that one.

While I tend to say "Photoshopped", it also can be the result of a wide angle lens up close to the near side antler, like the typical "fisherman" pose.
If you ignore the close antler, it's "almost" believeable. Would still be a HUGE buck, but try covering the near antler with a finger and see how the other side looks.
Not saying it's legit, cause I think it would be making a lot more news, just offering a possible explanation.

It looks photoshopped to me. He claims it is not. If he claims it's not, ask him for more details. More pictures, more background to the story, whatever.

I replace valve cover gaskets every 50K, if they don't need them sooner...

Next time I see him I'll question him. Im still saying BS. You would think there would be a good story behind this photo like the record PA bear.
