Mine has a 50 caliber barrel 1/28 twist. The book suggests Powerbelt bullets but I am looking for a less expensive practice bullet. Any suggestions? This is my first experience with an in line rifle. Thanks, whelennut
I like to do my hunting BEFORE I pull the trigger! There is only one kind of dead, but there are many different kinds of wounded.

If it is the CVA apex, the powerbellts will probably shoot pretty good out of it.
You can always go with pistol bullets and sabots.
I bought 2 packs of harvester crush ribs 50/45 cal bullet for 16 bucks and a box of hornady ftx 100 ct 225 grain bullets for 27 to total was 43 dollars. 100 shots for bullets then you have to add in powder
take a kid hunting there will be no greater feeling than to watch them succeed.

I killed this buck with the power belts 250 gr in the Winchester Apex and 100 gr Pellet of T-7. The rifle shoots the Hornady 250 SST with American Pioneer Pellet much better and i switched loads not long after this kill.
A Doe walks out of the woods today and says, that is the last time I'm going to do that for Two Bucks.
