I went to the gun store last Friday, gun show on Saturday, and another gun store today.
I didn't even find much of anything worth picking up. Normally I at least see and play with something I want.
Might have to take a road trip to see some new guns I guess.

I had my mitts all over a shiny Ruger #1 in .30-40 Krag last Saturday, wanted it, but not $1400 worth. They wasn't interested in dickering, either

Local Gander is asking 1400 and change for a 7x57 RSI #1 (USED), to me the Krag would be much more interesting but still not at 1400...

Local Gander is asking 1400 and change for a 7x57 RSI #1, to me the Krag would be much more interesting but still not at 1400... It's at the Lacey Cabelas if ya wanna go drool over it some...the wood is nice but not REALLY nice, if you get my drift.

I wouldn't mind a #1. Never seen one in a gunstore here new or used. Guy had them at a gunshow once but woulnd't pull one out the box to let me look at it - said I could look at it all I wanted if I bought it.

I was fondling a Browning Low Wall it 22 hornet, a #1 in 458 and a Colt Officer's Model. Nothing followed me home as I spent all my mad money just getting in.
