The post man just delivered my award for the largest Black bear taken by an MLOA member outfitter and client A clock,freamed certificat and plack. Just had to share the news.
sometimes you get the bear, sometimes he gets you, either way it's exciting

To see a picture go to www.pinelakeoutfitters.com very poor picture but you can tell from the head and forearms. Also a picture of a bear on a bait about the same size. Just a little smaller than "sambo"

Good job, I'll take your word, cause the picture is terrible. A 7' + black bear is something to see. You definately don't see too many of them in a lifetime.
