Every time I try to get on Cameraland's website my computer locks up. I was wondering if anyone else has the same problem. I hate this because of the great deals available there. I just bought one of the Zeiss refurbished scopes from Doug. Had it in my hands in 5 days and it looks just like new. If anyone can tell me how to fix the problem, I would be gr8teful.

That is very odd. Have you tried cleaning the cookies out of your computer?

The Javascript on the cameraland web site (for the menu system) is pretty "spinny". The scripts seem to run for an excessive time, IMHO, quite often on Safari on older Macs bring up the "unresponsive script" warning.
Lower powered, older, machines especially with old browsers I've noticed have more problems than new machines and new browsers with power to spare (and a faster Javascript implementation).
This could be triggering a bug on the OPs machine.
Doug: you might get your web folks to test on older slower machines. I'm sure there are hunters out there without the latest and greatest.

I will get with them directly after the holidays. As I am sure you can appreciate, I will not let them mess with our site for the next week or so just in case of a clusterphuck

Fixing it in the New Year would be good. I can see why you wouldn't want to mess with it now. The OP can test this by turning off Javascript and visiting the website. If his system doesn't hang up then that's the issue. He could also try switching to a more recent browser (like Firefox) if he's using an old browser. It should help out. Of course he may have other issues too ...
