In the interest of fair chase, I always give the game animal an advantage because I am armed with a Griffin & Howe 275 Rigby

Jeans are about all I wear anyway. I HAVE been dragged (kicking and screaming) into more expensive jeans as of late, but typically wear the same jeans hunting, on motorcycles, and out to decent places. I think I have an allergy to khakis.

Was guiding a bowhunt on the plains earlier this year and my hunter was shocked when I wore blue jeans. He was not a happy hunter as we began our stalk and I hadnt put camo on. Long story short, he missed the buck at 22 yards and did not offer any more criticism on my wardrobe the rest of the hunt
Drummond hunsonora, the issue isn't camo or color for us wet coasters who usually eschew jeans for serious hunting -- it is wet. Forget the jeans, I don't even wear cotton skivvies for hunting wet country!

Will Munny: It's a hell of a thing, killing a man. Take away all he's got and all he's ever gonna have.
The Schofield Kid: Yeah, well, I guess they had it coming.
Will Munny: We all got it coming, kid.

I own lots of jeans, in lots of dark colors (wearing dark brown Carhartt's today). I wear the new ones as everyday wear and the old/faded ones for outside work and hunting (also own a couple of pair of Wrangler camo jeans just for hunting.) I like the camo and dark colors when stump sitting or sitting on an open platform in a tree. If I am going to hunt in an enclosed tower stand or ground blind then the color doesn't make any difference.

It's not usually nice enough to deer hunt in jeans here in MN. That said, I shot my first buck while I was wearing blue jeans and a long sleve t-shirt.

Can you IMAGINE!!!! From now on I will wear jeans only when FISHING!! And even then attempt to ALWAYS cover them with waders!!! Cast Into the Wind... Ingwe Did you catch that with one of the MT Gayflys? Guilty...... I thought you had that GayFly look about you in the picture

When they get ouyt in the open, the sky really scares the schitt outta them, and it really gets sporting.... That could be the funniest thing you've ever posted. I nearly messed my drawers.

I wear blue jeans when hunting because I like to scare the animals out of the bushes and shoot them on the run. More sporting that way, no matter what VG says! That's some funny schit, right there.

MagMarc: Why, would you, wear blue jeans AND a camouflage upper garment? Is it part of an inherent TL/contrary type personality? That is the more important question I would like to hear a coherent answer to why a Hunter would wear bright blue jeans AND a camouflage upper garment? Enjoy your TLP no one else does. LOL! Golly, after all the other things I have to get right to hunt, now I have to make sure my shirt goes with my pants.

Simple. If you're hunting in tall grass or brush, you're upper body is exposed and you need a camo top. You're legs are hidden by the tall grass or brush. If you're not hunting in tall grass or brush, it dosen't matter because the game animals don't read internet forums that tell them to be afraid of blue jeans. And yes, I often hunt wearing jeans and a camo shirt or jacket, like for sheep hunting in Canada or while hunting in Africa when I'm not wearing shorts or when hunting at home, even in the snow and I've been hunting in jeans for many years.
