Its on gunbroker. listed as a 1904. I was watching that just out of curiosity - I would stay away!!!! It is an early long pistol grip version but it's rough!!! I didn't think it would even get to $50.........let alone get to over $400!!! I would pass on that one! 1904/03

He certainly has some action oriented ad writing skills. "Hurry" and, "may never find one like this again" nearly had me reaching for the buy-it-now button And the turtle, the snowmobiles, someone on a floaty toy..... I guess I have fallen behind the times when it comes to listing an auction. I will say this, I have sold some absolute screamers in a M1903 for the price this one is going for. Makes me wish I had every one of them back. Those are rifles I will never see again

I believe lauren is partial to a Winchester pump. The 1903 does look out of balance or something but fugly is harsh. And it did lead to some more conventional looking pumps from Savage.
