I am a shooter/hunter who uses #1s and I generally avoid 'safe queens".
There is a serious #1 collector out there who is divesting himself of his collection. He has already sold a .300 H&H NIB, and has a 30-40 Krag, a 7mm-08, and a 24 inch barrel ..45-70 Liberty among others.... All high-end, rare, #1s.

By the way, I have no stake in this in any form. Just like to see deserving #1s in good homes.

There are no #3 rifles. There are a quantity of Quality top end condition collectable #1 rifles. My interests and focus continue to change and I enjoy US military 1911 and 11A1 .45's, as well as Ruger 357/44 mag Flattop revolvers. Do not expect todays' dealer or wholesale prices on the #1's. Simply stated, there is no free lunch and no givaway show here. If you have interest, let me know. There are no bad questions either, so fire away. Thanks!
